More simple to change legal sex
From 1 July 2016 you can decide which legal sex that shall appear in the national register and your identity number.
Legal sex is from now on based on your own experience of sex and sex identity. It is no longer needed a particular diagnosis or medical treatment to change legal sex.
To change the legal sex status in the national register, you must now send an application to the tax authoroties = skatteetaten.no whre they will change legal sex status and assign a new identity number in the national register.
