Research Department

We aim to contribute to more and better research by being available to you as a researcher. Here, you will find research support that is part of a comprehensive offering in the region.

The department's overarching goal is to contribute to the implementation of more clinical research for the benefit of patients and healthcare services. A regional action plan has been developed, outlining the framework for research support in the future. Close collaboration with NTNU has been established in several functional areas of the department.

The integrated university hospital is particularly focused on expanding the offering of experimental treatment in the region, and we have clear goals in this area.

In addition to tasks described within our sections, the department is responsible for courses and education, research reporting, internal control, and research procedures.
