Research Department
We want to contribute to more and better research by being available to you as a researcher. With us, you will find research support that is part of an overall service in the region.
The department's overall aim is to contribute to more clinical research being carried out for the benefit of patients and the health service, and a regional action plan has been drawn up which sets the framework for research support going forward. A close collaboration has been established with NTNU in a number of the department's functional areas.
The integrated university hospital works in particular to increase the offer of experimental treatment in the region, and we have clear goals in this area.
In addition to tasks described under our sections, the department is responsible for courses and teaching, reporting on research, internal control and research procedures.
